A LITTLE ABOUT MISS LINDA
Miss Linda was a 76' fishing vessel.  Now she is a heavy duty yet beautiful Oceanographic Charter Research Vessel.  She
was built in 1989 in Coden, Alabama.  She worked as a fishing vessel off of California, Oregon and Washington.  Miss Linda
was converted to a charter research vessel in 2004 and continues to expand her versatility and capabilities.
I must admit that it is with reluctance.  However, we are
finally ready to retire
.

We've had Miss Linda since 1992 and converted her from
fishing to a research vessel in 2004.  Since the conversion
we've had many VERY interesting and fun opportunities to
work with a wide variety of scientists and oceanographic
researchers.

The last survey valued Miss Linda at $785,000.  Our asking
price is $499,000
which will include all the gear and
equipment.  We are including the business as well as all
customers.  All offers will be considered while we
continue operating our ongoing business operations.
She has a new Cummins KT-19 425hp main engine, a Cummins 4-B 40kw generator, a nearly new John Deer 70kw
generator and a nearly new Cummins Big Cam 3, 400hp engine to drive 4 60gpm vain hydraulic pumps.  While it
will vary with the type of research, we averaged a little under 6 gph fuel consumption in the first 600 hours of
operation with the new main engine and that includes the operation of the generator and hydraulic auxiliaries.

Check out the photos of the boat and some of our charters when you get a chance and if you are interested or
have any questions please give me a call.
